FarSounder 3D Forward Looking Sonars (FLS) offer benefits to safe navigation as well as for underwater security.
The FarSounder-1000, our premier navigation sonar system, offers users 3D FLS information out to 1000 meters ahead of the vessel. FarSounder's navigation systems are the only products capable of generating a true, 3-dimensional image ahead of a vessel at navigationally significant ranges. With an easy to understand user interface, nothing is more clear than a real-time picture of what is underwater ahead of you.
Situational awareness is key to safe navigation. FarSounder paints a clear picture by displaying this sonar data on top of a nautical chart. Our software includes chart plotting within the stand- alone model, using C-MAP Professional Charts. Our chart overlay includes the sea floor below and ahead of the vessel as well as objects in the water. Our systems may also be integrated into a 3rd party ECDIS/ECS System. where the sonar is displayed as an overlay.
